Celebrating World Ocean Day at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Sangli is a fantastic opportunity to educate students about the importance of oceans and marine life, and to inspire them to take action to protect our oceans. MIT VGS Sangli organised a special assembly on 7 June 2024 as a reminder of the importance of oceans in sustaining life on Earth and the urgent need to protect and conserve them for future generations.
During the assembly, the students shared their knowledge about ocean conservation and the importance of reducing plastic pollution.
World Ocean Day was a resounding success. It brought the Students together to learn about and take action for ocean conservation. It not only educated the students about the importance of oceans but also empowered them to be stewards of this precious resource.
