The Preschool students of MIT VGS Solapur celebrated “World Earth Day and Green Colour Day” with enthusiasm and dedication, aiming to instill an eco-conscious mindset among students and faculty alike. This year’s theme, “Restore Our Earth,” focused on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems. The day was marked by a series of activities designed to educate and engage the student body in environmental stewardship.
Little champs of Sr KG, Jr KG and Nursery delightfully dressed up in green attire, added more shine by planting small saplings. Students pledged to preserve and keep the environment clean as well as plant more trees.
On the occasion of Earth Day and Green Colour Day, teachers reminded the students of their duties towards Mother Nature and some contributions to support ‘The GO GREEN’ drive through PowerPoint Presentations. Through a video clip students learnt the art of Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling. Students were crowned with the message to ‘SAVE EARTH’ as a takeaway of the celebration.
The tiny tots enjoyed the Green Colour Day and Earth Day celebrations🌈, which were fun and informative to the little inquisitive minds. The event ignited the young minds to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with their heart and soul.
