The pre-school section of MIT VGS Barshi celebrated Pink Day on Friday, 9th February 2024. The colour pink is the colour of universal love of oneself and of others and represents friendship, harmony, inner peace and affection. Colours play a very important role in the early development of children. The tiny tots looked wonderful as they bloomed and blossomed in different shades of pink and brought pink-coloured toys. The students were excited to learn that pink colour will be obtained by mixing red and white. Different pink objects, toys and pictures were shown to the students by a Jr KG child through PowerPoint presentations. The tiny tots participated in a variety of hands-on activities to identify the colour. Such learning by doing activities gives hands-on experience to the children, which builds confidence and creates interest in learning.
