The National Sports Day was celebrated enthusiastically and with zeal at MIT VGS Loni Kalbhor. It is celebrated on August 29th every year, is a tribute to the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, whose birthday falls on this day. It is a day dedicated to celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, physical fitness, and the importance of sports in our lives.
Sports play a crucial role in our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Through sports, we learn how to handle success and failure, how to work with others towards a common goal, and how to push our limits to achieve excellence.
On National Sports Day, we organized various sports events and activities. These events encouraged students to participate in different sports, helping them discover their talents and develop a love for physical activity. Whether it’s a competitive game of football, a fun relay race, or a yoga session, these activities brought students together, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.
