26th July 1999, a day dedicated to the martyrs of the Kargil War, to pay tribute and remember the martyrdom of the brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Just like any other war, the consequences of this war were also catastrophic. India lost many brave soldiers. The Kargil Victory Day was commemorated at MIT VGS Solapur on 26th July 2023 with great reverence, paying homage to the brave soldiers. A special assembly was conducted by the students by lighting candles to pay their respects for the sacrifice of the brave soldiers. The students mesmerised the audience with a patriotic song. Patriotism is a social value; the feeling of patriotism is to be inculcated at the school level to make sure that student becomes a responsible citizen of our nation. We at MIT VGS Solapur salute and bow down to the national heroes, who leave their comfort and family, and put their lives on the front line to make sure the rest of the nation stays safe, sound, and lives in peace.
