The Guru Purnima celebration in the pre-primary section was a delightful and educational event where our young students engaged in various activities to understand the role of teachers in their lives. The day began with a simple assembly where teachers explained the significance of Guru Purnima in a child-friendly language.
Children participated in creating greeting cards and drawings for their parents, expressing their love and gratitude. Teachers narrated stories of inspirational teachers and mentors, emphasising their qualities and teachings. Some children dressed up as teachers, acted out teaching scenarios, learning about the responsibilities of educators. Children performed songs and dances dedicated to teachers, showcasing their enthusiasm and joy.
