Independance Day Celebration at MIT VGS Chh. Sambhajinagar
The Independence Day celebration on 15 August 2024, held at MIT VGS Chh. Sambhajinagar was a grand event marked by a series of patriotic activities that engaged students, staff and the community.

The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony at the hands of Chief Guest and others symbolizing the pride and unity of the nation. As the tricolour fluttered in the sky, the assembled crowd stood in reverence and sang the national anthem filling the atmosphere with a deep sense of patriotism. Following the flag hoisting, the Chief Guest, spoke about the significance of Independence Day, reflecting on the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and asked the students to rise to the occasion and rise above their limitations to create a brighter future for themselves and the nation.

The cultural segment of the event was a vibrant display of India’s rich heritage and diversity, featuring a variety of performances. A choir of students performed a medley of pulsing and vibrant patriotic songs, and the dance performances were truly a cohesive and powerful blend of classical and folk-dance forms, symbolizing the unity in diversity of the nation.

The event was not just a celebration but a reminder of the responsibilities that come with freedom. It successfully instilled a sense of pride, respect and love for the country among the students and staff alike.
