MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools believe in providing education which is holistic in approach and in accordance with the guidelines of National Education Policy 2020. We always make it a point to extend learning beyond the four walls of the classroom thereby helping students gain firsthand hands-on experience to enhance their skills. As a part of CBSE curriculum at MIT VGS Kothrud, the students of Grade XI Science and Commerce were encouraged to complete One Week Apprenticeship for a minimum of 5 hours everyday wherein they are required to complete a total of 30 hours between 03rd to 09th November 2023. The students explored various streams and completed the mini internships at Dr. Kasturi Patil’s Deep Dental Care, Manjri road, VishwaRaj Hospital Loni Kalbhor, Gandhi Medical & General Store, Manjri, Vaibhav Cricket Academy, Uruli Kanchan, Department of BioSciences & Technology, Polytechnic and Engineering, Marketing & Business Management at MIT World Peace University Kothrud, Aerospace Engineering Unit at MIT ADT University, Loni Kalbhor, Diksha Coaching Centre, Mundhwa, Bandish Studios, Gultekdi, S G Medical Loni Kalbhor, Amul Ice cream store, Hadapsar, Rainbow International Pvt Ltd. Shivajinagar, VasantDada Sugar Institute Manjri, Science Activity Centre at IISER Pune, SSS Consultants, Pune Such an exposure has enabled the students to understand the work environment and helped them develop life skills, getting them prepared for a prospective career while understanding the importance of inculcating the right attitude while at work place. Students have enjoyed every single second of their internship and are looking ahead to take up another apprenticeship during summer break as it has been an enriching experience!
