The greatest significance of Diwali is to light up new, bright, and colourful dreams, and fresh hopes. MIT VGS Loni Kalbhor organized a gala event in all its branches
The event aimed to acquaint the students with the significance of Diwali and its cultural importance. The event began with the lighting of the lamp and offering prayers to Goddess Lakshmi. The students pledged to celebrate a Green Diwali by saying “NO TO CRACKERS”. The highlight of the event was students depicting the story of Diwali, it was beautifully narrated showing the ancient tale of Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya after defeating the demon King Ravana and rescuing his wife. It was a mesmerising event.
The choir of the school in their harmonious voices, sang songs and hymns to add to the melody of the occasion. The skit, dance, and music created a delightful treat for all the present. The teacher in her speech motivated the students to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali. The vibrant celebration truly highlighted the spirit of Diwali, spreading joy and illuminating hearts with the message of hope, unity, and love.
