MIT VGS Kothrud is thrilled to announce its exceptional success in the recently held DANCEATHON 2023 an interschool dance competition. The competition was hosted by S.B. Patil Public School which was held on Saturday, 26 August 2023, and brought together talented dancers from 20 different schools in Pune, showcasing their skills, creativity, and teamwork. Team MIT consisted of dedicated and passionate students who emerged triumphant in this intense competition, securing 4th position and leaving an indelible mark on the event.
The journey began a couple of days before. MITVGS Kothrud diligently prepared for the competition led by the dance facilitators. Countless hours of practice were invested as the team aimed not only for technical excellence but also for a performance that would captivate the audience and judges. The chosen theme was patriotism, which was executed flawlessly through intricate choreography, expressive gestures, vibrant costumes and marvellous performance. This victory will be remembered as a shining example of what can be accomplished through hard work, dedication and a united team effort.
