The Pre-Primary section of MAEER’s Vishwashanti Gurukul School Sangli joyously celebrated Pink Colour Day on Thursday, 19th September 2024. The students from Nursery, Jr KG, and Sr KG eagerly participated in a variety of engaging activities.

Recognizing the significance of colours in early childhood development, the school highlighted the colour pink, representing universal love, friendship, harmony, and inner peace. The young students looked adorable adorned in different shades of pink, while teachers presented an informative session on the importance of Pink Colour Day. The students were shown various pink objects, toys, and images, and also brought pink-themed snacks to promote healthy eating habits. The children enthusiastically took part in arts and crafts, creating jellyfish and finger puppets, effectively grasping the aesthetic essence of the colour pink. A captivating show-and-tell session was the highlight of the day, successfully fulfilling the purpose of the Pink Colour Day celebration.

The festivities concluded with a delightful song, providing the children with hands-on experiences that fostered confidence and a keen interest in learning. The celebration was a triumphant success, fostering creativity, teamwork, and joy among both students and teachers.
