Central Academics and Research Team
The Central Academic Research and Training (CART) Unit of MIT VGS has been established to achieve the highest standards of academic excellence in all its units. A team of experts with vast experience in the field of education work together in designing the curriculum across grades and subjects keeping in mind the key recommendations of NEP and NCF. Pedagogical Processes in classrooms are designed to meet the learning needs of diverse learners thereby helping the teacher in achieving the desired learning outcomes. Assessment for Learning is given utmost importance at each level followed by Assessment as Learning and Assessment of Learning. Gaps in learning are identified at the formative stage and interventions are devised accordingly to bridge them. CART provides support for students by providing them with Learning Material in the form of a Lesson Question Bank and Worksheets in all subjects. Learning Material is reviewed and updated periodically based on the guidelines received from CBSE.
For students of Grades XI and XII, CART provides study material in the form of Question Bank and Worksheets in each subject prepared by experienced faculty. This support provides ample scope for students to have reference material which is handy in their preparation for both Board Examinations as well as competitive examinations. Competency-Based Unit End Assessments are a regular feature of our Senior Secondary Program. These assessments promote in students the required study habits and nurture skills that aid in better performance during the Summative Assessment stage. The performance of students is analyzed after every assessment and necessary support to bridge the gap is done to accelerate the learning of complex concepts.
