A devotional and vibrant atmosphere marked the Ashadhi Ekadashi Celebration at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar where students experienced Maharashtra’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage. The celebration inspired faith, unity, humility, devotion, and respect for Indian traditions.
The celebration was organized to help students understand the significance of Ashadhi Ekadashi, the Warkari tradition, and the teachings of Lord Vitthal, Sant Dnyaneshwar, and Sant Tukaram. Special assemblies, pooja ceremonies, devotional songs, cultural presentations, and inspiring messages highlighted the festival’s importance.
Students participated in Dindi and Palkhi processions, sang abhangas, chanted devotional hymns, performed dances, skits, storytelling, and portrayed Warkaris, saints, Lord Vitthal, and Goddess Rukmini in traditional attire. These activities strengthened cultural awareness, confidence, teamwork, and appreciation for Maharashtra’s traditions.
The celebration concluded on a joyful and spiritual note, inspiring students with the values of devotion, compassion, unity, and selfless service. Ashadhi Ekadashi strengthened cultural pride, moral values, and respect for Maharashtra’s spiritual heritage.
