Weaving the Bond of Love & Protection at MIT VGS Barshi

Rakshabandhan was celebrated at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Barshi with great enthusiasm, with active participation from students, fostering traditional values of love, care, and bonding. The event began with storytelling sessions on the festival’s significance, followed by a RakhiTying demonstration.

A Rakhi Making Competition encouraged creativity using eco-friendly materials, with entries judged on design, neatness, and presentation. Students dressed in traditional attire, made rakhis and greeting cards, and enjoyed festive music and dance.

The celebration blended cultural learning with artistic expression, leaving students with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for the festival.
