A joyful and inspiring atmosphere marked the launch of the Reading Brigade at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Ulwe where students celebrated the joy of reading. The event encouraged curiosity, imagination, and a love for books.
The programme was organized to promote reading habits and critical thinking through literary experiences. It began with a welcome address, ceremonial lamp-lighting, the World Peace Prayer, and a vibrant Reading Rhythm performance.
Students participated in the launch by taking the Reader’s Promise, pledging to read every day and care for their books. An interactive session with renowned authors inspired creativity, storytelling, and a passion for reading and writing.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, encouraging students to make reading a lifelong habit. The Reading Brigade strengthened creativity, communication, critical thinking, and imagination while fostering a vibrant reading culture.
