The Etiquettes in Public Places activity was conducted at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Sangli to help students understand the importance of good manners and responsible behaviour in public spaces. The activity aimed to develop discipline, respect, and social awareness among students through engaging and practical learning experiences.
Students learned the use of polite words such as please, sorry, excuse me, and thank you, along with the importance of cleanliness, waiting for their turn, and respecting elders and public property. Songs, stories, and videos made the learning process enjoyable and easy to understand.
Role-play activities and quizzes helped students understand correct behaviour in places such as parks, markets, libraries, and public transport. Students actively participated and confidently demonstrated their understanding of social manners.
The activity became a meaningful learning experience, encouraging students to practise good manners in daily life. It helped nurture responsible behaviour and social awareness, guiding students to contribute towards maintaining respectful and pleasant public environments.
