The Haldi Kumkum programme was joyfully organised at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Sangli as a celebration of Indian tradition, togetherness, and community bonding. The event aimed to strengthen the relationship between the school and parents while creating a meaningful platform for interaction and shared cultural values.
The programme began with a traditional Saraswati Pujan and a warm welcome to all participants. The Haldi Kumkum ceremony was conducted with great enthusiasm, symbolising prosperity, happiness, and harmony. Mothers were honoured with haldi kumkum and small tokens of love, creating a joyful and respectful atmosphere. The event also welcomed members of the school community, helping strengthen social connection.
The celebration included enriching sessions such as a counselling and guidance session on self-love and parenting, as well as a cooking session where a traditional recipe was shared. These sessions added learning value to the event and were warmly received. Along with this, fun activities and interactive games created an atmosphere of laughter, bonding, and positive energy.
The Haldi Kumkum celebration became a meaningful and enriching experience for all. It beautifully blended tradition with learning, guidance, and joyful interaction, strengthening the bond between the school and the parent community. The event reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing relationships, cultural values, and a supportive school environment built on trust, respect, and togetherness.
