MIT VGS, Pandharpur, started the academic session 2019-20 in the month of April by welcoming the students coming from different regions and states of India. The school management, in association with the activity department, planned and organised the Freshers’ Day Program.
The event was organized on 3rd July 2019 in the presence of Mr. Sachin Kumar Sharma, chief guest, Vice Principal, teachers, and students. Two students - Parth Tapadiya and Samruddhi Nagne – anchored the event, which began with the World Peace Prayer. This was followed by various entertainment programs such as dance, music and a special skit performed by the 9th grade boys, dedicated to their new friends, depicting the wonderful hostel life. The head girl, head boy and others welcomed the new students by their motivational speeches, where they also shared their memories and experiences with the MIT VGS Family.
Everybody enjoyed the performances and many students also displayed their fantastic moves on the open dance floor. The program concluded with a motivational speech and advice by the chief guest, and the Vice Principal. Diya Phade of grade 9 presented the vote of thanks. After the program, the children enjoyed the lovely dinner in the dining hall, along with their new friends.
