Pune Climate Warriors conducted an inter-school elocution competition on 10th December 2022. The results for the same were declared at the Prize distribution ceremony which was conducted on 25th February 2023.
Three students from MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Kothrud participated in this competition. Gr Aditya Dandge from grade 6 Beta, Rudrani Hedaoo from grade 7 Beta, and Apoorva Patil from grade 8 Gamma performed brilliantly on stage. Aditya Dandage bagged the first prize including a trophy, certificate, and cash amount of Rs. 1500/- in the grade 6 category. The winning speech was delivered on the topic, ‘My Jungle Book’. Mr. Ravindra Dharia (President, Vanarai), Mr. Ankush Kakade (Former Mayor, Pune), and Mrs. Vandana Chavan (Founder ALERT, Member of Parliament-Rajya Sabha) graced the occasion and felicitated the winners. It was indeed a proud moment for our school.
Out of 63 schools that participated in the different competitions and activities conducted by Pune Climate Warriors, 11 Lead Teachers were awarded for their outstanding performance. Our school teacher Mrs. Anita Purohit bagged the prize.
