1. Where is the school located?

The school is located on the outskirts of Pune, off Pune-Solapur highway, beyond Loni Kalbhor toll plaza, in a lush green 120 acre campus.


2. Give some information about the Management ?

Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research’s (MAEER) MIT Group of Institutions is an educational conglomerate, established in 1983 by the visionary educationist Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D Karad. Starting with one of the first private engineering colleges in Maharashtra, MIT Group today runs 72+ institutions and 4 private universities. This covers disciplines such as engineering, medicine, pharmacy, insurance, telecom, design, food technology, retail, business management, governance and Vedic sciences, as well as school education. MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools (VGS) emphasize on developing the unique qualities of every student by blending the timeless Indian values and modern scientific knowledge. The focus is on imparting a comprehensive training for the harmonious development of body, mind and soul. 6. What is the school academic curriculum?

The school is affiliated to CBSE, which is based on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) defined by National Council for Educational Research & Training (NCERT). 8. How is the teaching faculty selected ?

Senior educators have been appointed on the advisory team for selection of teachers. Appropriate educational qualifications, relevant experience and demonstration skills are the selection criteria. Teachers are recruited on the basis of merit.

10. What is the age requirement for admission? Is any relaxation possible ?

The Age criteria is as follows:-

Class II 7 & 1 year for each higher grade

Age relaxation can be considered by the principal in exceptional cases.


11. Does the school provide transport facility ?

School bus service is available. The routes are planned at the start of every academic session to optimize travel time for students. Safety is the primary concern. Every bus is manned by a trained driver and a lady attendant. All RTO norms including speed governors are followed. Bus charges are not included in the annual school fees. They are decided at the start of the academic session and are payable in two instalments.

13. What is the admission process ?

For completing the below mentioned admission process, parents can visit the school on any working day between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm including Saturdays.

  • Collect a registration kit/application form from the admission office in the school.
  • The completed form along with the 1st term fees should be submitted to the school office, after which the admission will be confirmed.

14. What are the documents required at the time of admission ?

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission along with the completed admission form, after which the admission will be confirmed:

  • Birth certificate photocopy, attested by a notary or government official
  • Medical certificate stating that the child is physically and mentally fit
  • Blood group proof (original or attested photocopy)
  • Five passport size colour photographs of the student
  • One passport size photograph of each parent
  • Previous report card photocopy (not applicable for nursery admissions)
Admission will only be confirmed upon submission of all documents.

15. What kind of entrance test will be taken at the time of admission ?

No written test is conducted for lower grades. Students are admitted on a first-come-first basis. Grade VI onwards a written test has to be taken by the students.


16. What is the fee-break up ?

17. By Admission is granted only when the 1st term tuition fees is paid. When do we need to pay the fees ?

Printed fee instalment details will be shared with the parents.


18. Is there any concession on tuition fee or admission fee ?

No, the fee structure is standard for every student. However, some discount is given in case of parents making a lump sum payment or admitting all sibling in the school.


19. Can we pay the fees in installments?

Yes, tuition fees can be paid in instalments. Admission fees have to be paid up front.
