A thoughtful atmosphere marked the celebration of World Earth Day at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Sangli as students reflected on their responsibility towards the environment. The occasion encouraged awareness and a deeper connection with nature.
The celebration began with a special assembly featuring prayer and a collective pledge. Students understood the importance of conserving natural resources and adopting eco-friendly habits in daily life.
Students participated in speeches, role plays, and presentations highlighting pollution and environmental protection. The skit “Good Earth vs Polluted Earth” conveyed the message of responsible living and encouraged reflection.
