Fit India Week Celebration

Fit India Week was celebrated at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Sangli from 24th to 28th November 2025 for students of Grades III to XII. The week promoted the idea of a healthy mind in a healthy body and encouraged the adoption of fitness and good habits.

Students participated in traditional games such as gilli danda, kho-kho, satoli, and other fun activities including hopscotch, relay races, and balancing events. Interactive sessions on cleanliness and personal hygiene were also conducted. Middle school students took part in endurance-building exercises and a Fit India Quiz covering nutrition, yoga, and sports awareness.

Older students experienced circuit training led by the Principal, followed by a Zumba session and a health talk on maintaining a balanced lifestyle. The celebrations made a meaningful impact by raising awareness about fitness, nutrition, and daily physical activity among both students and teachers.
