The Educational Trip – Heritage Yatra was organized by MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Loni Kalbhor, for students of Grades VI to VIII at Kalagram, Pu. La. Deshpande Udyan, Pune, to provide experiential learning beyond the classroom. The visit aimed to enhance creativity and help students appreciate India’s rich cultural heritage.
Students actively participated in various hands-on and knowledge-based activities such as diya painting, pottery, origami, Warli art, puppet making, weaving, puzzles, and drama performances. These activities created an engaging environment that blended traditional art forms with creative learning.
Through these experiences, students gained practical exposure to traditional crafts while strengthening their creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills. The interactive sessions made learning enjoyable, meaningful, and memorable.
The Heritage Yatra proved to be a highly enriching educational experience. It successfully promoted cultural awareness, skill-based learning, and holistic development, reinforcing the school’s commitment to experiential and value-based education.
The Field Trip – Metro Ride was organized by MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Kothrud, for Pre-Primary students to provide meaningful experiential learning beyond the classroom. The journey from Vanaz to Ramwadi and back offered students an exciting opportunity to experience metro travel in a safe and guided environment.
Students observed various features of the metro system and learned about travel procedures, safety rules, and the importance of following public transport etiquette. The interactive guidance provided during the visit made the experience both educational and engaging.
Through this real-life exposure, students developed confidence, curiosity, and practical awareness about modern transport systems. The activity also encouraged discipline, observation skills, and responsible behaviour.
The Metro Ride field trip proved to be a joyful and enriching experience, reinforcing the school’s commitment to experiential learning and the holistic development of students.
