Bagless Day was joyfully celebrated at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Loni Kalbhor with the objective of promoting experiential learning, healthy habits, and holistic development among students. The initiative aimed to move learning beyond textbooks and create meaningful, activity-based experiences that support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
The day began with mindfulness activities such as yoga, meditation, deep breathing, and brisk walking, creating a calm and positive start for students. This was followed by engaging physical activities including Zumba, obstacle courses, freeze dance, and fitness-based games that encouraged energy, teamwork, and active participation.
Students also took part in sessions focused on healthy living and nutrition awareness. Activities such as healthy food preparation, nutrition chart making, tasting sessions, and routine planning helped students understand the importance of balanced diets and daily healthy habits. Creative activities like gratitude-based tasks encouraged positive thinking and emotional development.
Overall, Bagless Day was a meaningful and enriching learning experience. It successfully blended fun with education, strengthened life skills, and encouraged students to adopt healthy habits in their daily lives, making learning joyful, practical, and student-centric.
