A sense of history and cultural pride marked the Heritage Exhibition and Traditional Dress Competition at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Kothrud on the occasion of ShivJayanti. The celebration encouraged students to connect with the inspiring legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The event began with a Heritage Exhibition displaying historical artefacts, traditional weaponry, and rare coins. The display helped students understand the history and values associated with the era of Swaraj.
Adding enthusiasm to the celebration, pre-primary students participated in the Traditional Dress Competition with great excitement. Dressed as historical and cultural characters, the young participants confidently introduced themselves on stage.
The celebration concluded on a joyful note. The event helped students appreciate the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj while nurturing respect for history, culture, and national pride.
