Hindi Diwas was celebrated on 14th September, 2015 to show the importance of Hindi language in our country.. It was started celebrating as a Hindi Diwas as Hindi written in Devnagari script was approved as an official language by the Constituent Assembly on 14th of September in the year 1949.
It was celebrated by the students by organizing a special assembly with lots of recreational activities in Hindi. Some of the highlighting activities of this day were poem recitation and story writing competition. The competition was judged by Mr. Bagal who is a lecturer of Hindi in Maharashtra Vidhayalaya, Barshi. He praised the students for their wonderful performance and said that such type of contests would help students to explore their Hindi language knowledge with different hues and flavours.
