Teaching Children Personal Safety and Boundaries through Awareness Sessions at MIT VGS Sangli
A workshop on “𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝” was conducted at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Sangli to promote Child Safety and awareness.
The session aimed to empower children with age-appropriate knowledge about personal safety and boundaries. Children were guided to understand “No Touch Areas,” differentiate between safe and unsafe touches, and respond effectively by saying “NO,” moving away, and reporting to a trusted adult.
Visual aids such as dolls and an educational presentation made the learning interactive and relatable. The workshop created a safe, empathetic environment that helped children build confidence, awareness, and essential Life Skills for their protection.
