Dahi Handi & Krishna Janmashtami Celebration at MIT VGS Loni Kalbhor
Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Loni Kalbhor. The school came alive with students dressed as Krishna, Radha, and Gopikas, adding vibrant colors and charm. The event featured a puppet show highlighting teamwork and milk products, lively dance performances, devotional songs, and a fun-filled Dahi Handi activity using safe, soft clay pots.
Through engaging rituals, cultural performances, and interactive activities, students learned about Krishna’s life, values of love, friendship, and truth, and developed creativity, teamwork, and cultural appreciation. The celebration fostered devotion, community spirit, and joyous learning, leaving lasting memories of festivity and tradition.
