Marathi Bhasha Diwas Celebration at MIT VGS Ulwe
On 27th Feb 2025, MIT VGS enthusiastically celebrated Marathi Bhasha Diwas, a day dedicated to the veneration of the Marathi language. The festivities commenced with a special assembly, where students donned traditional Marathi attire, imbuing the atmosphere with a vibrant cultural essence.
The Language Teacher delivered an erudite discourse, elucidating the significance and richness of the Marathi language. The assembly aimed to instill a profound appreciation for the language among the students, fostering a sense of linguistic pride and cultural heritage.
To further enrich the celebration, a plethora of engaging activities were meticulously organized for various grade levels. These included:
- Recitation of Marathi rhymes, which facilitated the development of phonetic skills and rhythmic expression.
- Enthralling storytelling sessions, which brought Marathi literature to life, captivating the students’ imagination.
