Republic Day Celebration (Primary) @ MIT VGS Loni Kalbhor
To honor the Constitution of India, MAEER’s MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools celebrated its 74th Republic Day on 26th January 2023, Thursday with immense patriotic fervor and zeal. The unfurling of the national tricolor took place at the hands of invited guests which was followed by the National Anthem. The students pledged to abide by the constitution of their motherland and fulfill all their duties as responsible citizens.
A plethora of activities was organized to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood, and patriotism among the students. The theme was ‘Nari shakti’ and women’s empowerment. The students delivered speeches encapsulating the significance of Republic Day and the contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in drafting the Indian Constitution. The choir sang patriotic songs with a lot of passion, and confidence, which evoked patriotic feelings in all. The students presented a scintillating dance on some of the patriotic songs showcasing the vital aspects of India and its unity in diversity while depicting the power of women. The mesmerizing dance performances kept the flame of patriotism alive. Accomplishments of women in diverse fields in pre-independence, post-independence, and the current scenario were showcased beautifully in the skit. An outstanding performance was given by the students to prove that competitiveness and progress play a vital role in a nation’s progress and prosperity through an educational activity
