Hindi Diwas Celebration (Primary & Highschool) at MIT VGS Loni
“Hindi hamari shaan hai, Desh ka abhimaan hai”
Hindi Diwas was celebrated at MAEER’s MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools on Wednesday, 14th September 2022 to pay tribute to the official language of India. The celebration of Hindi Diwas stands as a patriotic reminder to the Indian population of their common roots and unity. Hearts were soaring with pride as the students gathered in the school auditorium to celebrate the day. The students of grade I to V conducted a special assembly. They talked about the importance of the language and discussed interesting statistics regarding the use of the Hindi language. This was then followed by a captivating musical performance by the students and a recitation of a poem. The students raised slogans about the importance of the language.
The students of grades VI to X together to mark the importance of the country’s most widely spoken language. An invocation dance to the Lord Ganesha followed by the thought for the day, brightened up the day. Students delivered speeches, they highlighted the significance of the language in connecting the citizens of India. Few students expressed their pride in the rich literature and uniqueness of this beautiful language by reciting Hindi poems by Prem Chand, Subhadra Kumari Chavan, Mahadevi Verma, and ‘Dohe’ by Kabir Das and many more. The pupils mesmerized the listeners with their melodious songs.
The students spoke about the importance of Hindi Diwas and enacted the role of Kabir Das in the form of an interview. The dance troupe enthralled the audience with their engrossing dance moves.
