National Sports Day Celebration @ MIT VGS Kothrud

Sports and games are an integral part of our life and have become a way of life for a healthy and fit India. Sports can teach values such as fairness, teambuilding, equality, discipline, inclusion, perseverance, and respect.

MAEER’s MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August 2022, to pay tribute to hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, who won gold medals for India in the Olympics in 1928, 1932, and 1936.

Students in large numbers participated, they put in efforts and presented miniature models of the basketball court, field hockey, soccer, softball, volleyball, and various other indoor and outdoor games. Various sports competitions were organized by the school sports department on this day in which students participated according to their interests. All the students were very excited, after all this was the time to enjoy in activities beyond academics.
