“Shades of yellow stimulate our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism.”
With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the colour, yellow, the students of the preschool section of MAEER’s MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools celebrated ‘Yellow Day’ on Friday, 26th August 2022.
Yellow is the colour of optimism, glory, sunshine and happiness. It stands for freshness, positivity, intellect and joy. The motive of celebrating yellow day was to make the students aware of the yellow colour, its significance and to develop the fine motor skills in the students.
The celebration began with a fun-filled introduction of the colour yellow through a PowerPoint presentation. The children were beautifully dressed up in different shades of yellow and also brought yellow snacks to school. Focusing on the theme, they showed yellow objects to one another.
All the students enjoyed the video of the ‘yellow’ song. They enjoyed drawing and colouring different objects in the colour and also enjoyed art and craft activity of paper tearing, stick puppet and making a yellow duckling. It was an amazing learning experience which will have a long lasting effect on each student. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
