Independence Day Celebration @MIT VGS Solapur
Our school & Jr.Collage MIT VGS Solapur celebrated 75th of Independence Day on 15th August 2022 between 9.00am to 11.00a.m. Independence Day celebration started with the flag hoisting ceremony which was performed by respected Principal Dr. Swapnil Sheth and all the esteemed guests present over here. Flag ceremony was followed by flag song, national anthem and pledge which made this auspicious day more patriotic and memorable.
MIT VGS school song was played which was followed by the March Past and then inspiring thought of the day was shared by one of the student. Honorable Principal felicitated all the respected guests by offering them bouquet and sapling. One of our students gave importance of this auspicious day and other student gave information of our great Indian history which reminds us about the great sacrifices of our great leaders. School students & college students performed wonderful patriotic songs which spread patriotism among all present over here. Dance cum skit was performed by the school students and group dance by college students which were the attractions of this special celebration. A very beautiful poem was recited by one of our student on this auspicious day.
Respected guests Mr. Vyankatesh Gambhir & Dr. Sahebrao Patil expressed their feelings and motivated students to respect our nation. Today’s special celebration got over with vote of thanks by one of our student. This was really a wonderful celebration that created the feelings of nationalism which is the need of this era in order to bind people together and make them feel proud to be an Indian.
