Independence Day Celebration @MIT VGS Sangli

The 75th Independence Day has been celebrated at THE MIT VG SCHOOL & COLLEGE with great enthusiasm, excitement and a patriotic feel. The event was onset at 8.00 a.m. It was anchored by the young   students of the college The flag was hoisted by the Chief guest Mr. Arun Dashrat Kale the Head of Para Commander of Para Special Force of  Indian Army ,accompanied by the guest of honor Mrs. Asmeen Gafur Sayyed The Rifle Woman of Assam Rifles Unit – 20 and the College Principal Mr. Prakash Yadav followed by National Anthem and Pledge. The flag hoisting was witnessed by the school staff, college staff and the parents. Preprimary students too witnessed the event. 

The energetic cultural program was successfully held in which the school and college students showcased their skills and talents through patriotic dance, songs and poems which left the gathering flabbergasted .School student shared the Thought for the Day followed by Introduction of the guests by the college student.

The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor were felicitated by the college Principal with a shawl and a plant as the token of love.

Later, Chief Guest threw a light over the program with his speech remembering the martyrs and heroes of the nation about their sacrifices. The college Principal then shared his valuable thoughts which encouraged the students and the gathering. 

The successful event was happily concluded with Vande mataram.
