MIT VGS Barshi celebrated a special event Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,75 years of Independence with pomp and great enthusiasm.
On this day the sense of happiness and pride could be clearly seen on the faces of all the teachers, students and parents. . On this grand occasion, the school programme started with flag hoisting by the Principal and she addressed the gathering appealing to our nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. She also emphasized the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country.
Students delivered patriotic speeches in Hindi and English languages. Special traction of the programme was Pulwama Tragedy Stage Depiction on stage and Lathi Kathi Drill by students. This was followed by a musical rendition by the school choir which sang many patriotic songs that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. The students also flew tricoloured kites to commemorate the occasion. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
