Independence Day (Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav) Celebration at MAEER’S MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School
MAEER’S MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School celebrated India’s 75th year of Independence with great zeal and patriotic fervor. The Indian tricolor flag was unfurled and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. The March Past presented by the students of Grade I to X was the highlight of the day wherein they displayed remarkable coordination and discipline . The celebration continued with patriotic songs in which Grade 2 students & the Choir group sang the Patriotic songs that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land. Furthermore, It was a mesmerizing sight to see students & their dance mentor perform beautiful dances by thumping with the beats of patriotic music. Even the higher grade students delivered inspirational speeches on the occasion. They expressed their sentiments and aspirations for the country by sharing their views on the Freedom Fighters who inspire them the most.
Apart from the various performances, Students council members along with EPTA members planted the trees at school! The Program concluded up with the Vote of thanks and at the end sweets were distributed to the students. Indeed, it was a day of joy and love which created an atmosphere of national pride.
