Monsoon Day Celebration @MIT VGS Barshi

‘Rainy Season’ or ‘Monsoon’, the beautiful season of the year, is a gift of God to mankind. It revives our souls and fills the surroundings with the beauty of fresh greenery.

To celebrate Monsoon showers, the pre-primary students of MIT VGS School, Barshi, came ‘armed’ in their raincoats and umbrellas to splash and revel in the rain. The students of Kindergarten were brought out in the open by their teachers with umbrellas and raincoats to enjoy the weather.

Teachers decorated the pre-primary section with paper clouds, umbrellas and rainy creatures like frogs, butterflies, and caterpillars. Teacher told students about the importance of the rainy or Monsoon day. And we had done the activity of drawing monsoon day themes like umbrellas, clouds, and snails. We played melodious songs and our students played the tunes of these songs.

The kids really had a festive time with their friends and teachers. This Rainy Day celebration was full of fun and frolic.
