Friendship Day Celebration @MIT VGS Kothrud
Friendship day is just an opportunity to let our friends know that we value their presence in our life.
The Pre-school kids of MAEER’s MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Kothrud, Pune, celebrated the bond of friendship on Friday, 5th August 2022. Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year. Having a friend by your side is one of the best gifts one can receive. The friendship that blossoms in the tender years of preschool plays an important part in the lives of children. Friendships help children develop important life skills like getting along with others. All the students came dressed in their best! They were told about the importance of the day and stories with morals.
The value, ‘sharing is caring’ was elaborated on while conducting various activities. The day concluded with the students presenting each other with a friendship day card. The tiny tots fastened a friendship band on their friends’ wrists and wished their friends. They went home not only wearing friendship bands but also with lovely smiles on their faces.
