Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration @MIT VGS Sangli

Kargil Victory Day) is commemorated every 26 July in India, to observe India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War for ousting Pakistani Forces from their occupied positions on the mountain tops of Northern Kargil District in Ladakh in 1999.

AT MIT – VGS – Sangli This day was celebrated with great pride to mark the victory and remember the heroes because of whom we could see this day.

As per the tradition of MIT VGS the program started with the world peace prayer, which was followed by the pledge and the school song. The assembly was hosted by grade I Emerald students. Students from grade V to IX presented the importance of Kargil diwas, facts of Kargil and vote of thanks.
