Ashadi Ekadashi Celebration@ MIT VGS Loni Kalbhor

Ashadi Ekadashi is an auspicious day of God Shri Vitthal. To make our little children aware of our tradition and greatness of saints who gave the importance of social equality and tried to inculcate moral values. Ashadi Ekadashi was celebrated in the pre primary section of MIT VGS, Loni on 8th July 2022 with great enthusiasm.

All children dressed up in traditional attires. Some students dressed up as ‘Warkaris, Saints and Viththal-Rukumai’.

The programme commenced by Special assembly of Grade Sr.kg (Hornbill) where students spoke about the importance of ‘Ashadi Ekadashi’. After that procession of Palkhi was conducted in the school campus with full enthusiasm. The school was filled with the chanting of ‘Vitthalnam’ and the whole ambiance became devotional.

The celebration ended with happy faces, little children were the real heroes as without them the event was just an imagination which came into existence with their little footsteps.
