Van Mahotsav is a type of festival which is celebrated for tree plantation. It is organized every year in the first week of July across all over India when millions of trees are planted on this beautiful day.
Van Mahotsav week was celebrated from 4th July to 8th July 2022 with utmost zeal and enthusiasm in our school campus. The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instil the value of social responsibility in the students towards safeguarding trees and forests through various activities.
As part of the celebration, our school conducted different activities for students of Grade I to X. The students of grades IV to VI showcased their skills by writing beautiful slogans on the ‘Save a tree, save the planet’. While the students of grades VII & VIII brought their thoughts and emotions to life through their posters on the topic ‘Amazing World of Plants’. The students of grades IX & X spread awareness on the importance of trees through Nukkad Natak.
These various activities helped to instill the value of social responsibility in the students.
