Green Day celebrations@ MIT VGS Loni Kalbhor

As a part of Colours day celebration, Green Day Activity session was conducted for the tiny tots of the Pre-primary section on Monday, 4th July 2022.

Green day was celebrated in an instructive way where children learnt about the importance of green colour and the positive effects it has on our lives. Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green costumes the little ones created a pleasant, harmonious and refreshing aura.

The session began with fun filled introduction concerning the colour green followed by children discussing about the green objects/ things in connection with the colour Green. The children also spoke about the colour and they named the vegetables, fruits and other things that they see in their environment which are green in colour.

The students were taught the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves, trees etc. The teacher also told the importance of green foods for good health and that we should eat raw green foods to be healthy and strong. All the children from Grade Nursery, Jr.KG, Sr.KG recited rhymes related to colour green and did the vegetable printing activity.

The shades of green filled the air with freshness, thrill, ecstasy and bliss. It also prompted them to think how green colour energizes and revitalizes our lives. It was indeed an invigorating, reviving, and rejuvenating experience….!
