Health check up on the occasion of Doctors Day@ MIT VGS Chichondi
“Not all angels have wings, some have stethoscopes.”
MAEER’s Vishwashanti Gurukul Schoosl celebrated National Doctors Day on Friday, 1st July 2022. All the ‘doctor parents’ of the school were invited for an event which was planned exclusively for them to thank them for their selfless service towards the citizens of the nation. Some doctor parents were able to accept the invitation and spare some time out of their busy schedules.
A special assembly was conducted to mark the importance of these professionals and honour them. The students felicitated the doctor parents with a potted medicinal plant, which was followed by the informative and interactive question-answer session between the students and doctor parents.
The doctors insisted that the students get vaccinated against Covid as it is the need of the hour. They shared their experiences and challenges that they faced during the pandemic. Not thinking about their life, they completely devoted themselves to their duty. All the doctor parents stated that they are content and grateful of their choice of profession as they keep themselves updated.
The doctors advised students to have a balanced diet, enough exercise and get routine health check ups. This was followed by a musical rendition where the doctors were thanked for their endless services.
