We at MIT VGS focus on academics along with real life experiences by giving them exposure to observe and think. Keeping this in mind, we have planned a field visit to our own Rajbaug Campus which is famous for its creative architecture, world class education and the World’s Biggest DOME for PEACE.
The campus tour was organized for grade 1 to 5 which consists of 450+ students accompanied by their Teachers. The first spot of today’s tour was ‘World Peace Dome’ followed by Geeta Bhavan to make them aware about our great religious culture. Later the students were taken to Vishwashanti Sangeet Kala Academy which is certainly working towards being the ‘Centre of Excellence’ in the field of music and fine arts in the coming days. Another famous attraction of Rajbaug campus which is the Raj Memorial Museum, where students were thrilled watching the statues of famous Bollywood personalities in the attire of their famous characters. Students also enjoyed the side view of Mula-Mutha river and had an unique experience of ‘VAN BHOJAN’ by the bank of the river. The final spot to visit was MANET – Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training where students observed the model of the Ship and were excited to observe the different machineries and how it works.
Overall the field trip was enjoyable, informative and full of real experience. This was the first short and sweet trip after the huge gap of pandemic. This was a memorable day for teachers and students.
