Special Assembly on World Blood Donor Day @MITVGS Kothrud

The students of the primary section began their day at school by attending the morning assembly. The morning assembly is an integral part of a student’s life as it instills discipline as well as gives the students an opportunity to take in the fresh morning air. The students of Grade IV Emerald, MAEER’S Vishwashanti Gurukul, Kothrud led the assembly on June 14, 2022. The theme of the assembly was ‘Confidence and Positivity’.

The assembly commenced with the recitation of the world peace prayer. The prayer was followed by the news of the day. After the news, one of the students introduced a new word [protean] along with the meaning, antonym and synonym of the word. Another student encouraged the rest of the students to hold on to their hopes. The class teacher provided further encouragement by sharing a few tips on how to boost one’s confidence. Since June 14 is observed as World Blood Donor Day, the importance of donating blood was highlighted. The assembly ended with the national anthem.
